What to Wear

The Plaza Ayuntamiento is the heart of Valencia, and Valencia is at the heart of Spain so everything that goes for Spain as a whole goes twice or quadruple here.

If you want to enjoy the City and the Plaza as much as possible then you need to fit in.  Not to say pretend to be a local, but at least be sensitive to the norms of the city.

Dressing casually but smartly is key and means good quality yet informal clothing for men, and rather more "dressy" for Ladies than would be typical in English or American circles.
